The Martial Law in the Philippines

Introduction:

             Martial Law in the Philippines or ' Batas Military sa Pilipinas ' refers to several intermittent periods in Philippine history wherein the Philippine head of state such as the President places an area under the control of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and its predecessor bodies. According to Philippine history.org, that the proclamation of Martial Law was declared on September 21, 1972 on the time of President Ferdenand Marcos in order to protect the welfare of the Filipino people from the dangerous threats posed by Muslim rebel groups and Christian vigilantes that places natural security at risk during that time.

Body:

             Based on the overview of Juan Ponce Enrile on the interview of Luchi Cruz  Valdez that the proclamation of Martial Law in Mindanao is not for the sake of President Duterte, otherwise not to protect the President in his position, but to protect every citizens, people or the public due to the dispute between the government and the Maute Terrorist who destroyed the city of Marawi. During the interview, Valdez was seems contradicted to Enrile. And when Valdez said that the public was 'napapraning' about the Martial Law, Enrile said to Valdez that 'are you embodied the people in general' because Valdez using people as a whole without using statistical method.  By that, her statement is definitely false because she only referring in her self and maybe in gossips without a research and any validation.
             Moreover, the declaration of Martial Law in Mindanao due to the dispute between the government and the Maute Terrorist Group feared to have an effect on the Economic  stability of the Philippines. If implemented well and resolved in a short period of time, experts stated that this Marawi incident will not be a threat to our economy. Also, it would even protect businesses there in Mindanao from the threat of terrorism and would not slow the country's economic momentum, according to Duterte's Administration Economic team.

Conclusion:

             consequently, Duterte's implementation of Martial Law will give big benefits and advantages not only here in Mindanao but also in Luzon and Visayas.
